WHISPERS OF FIRE I have been experimenting with AI as part of my design process. I wanted to design a poster that is on trend. So I came up with a concept for a fictional exhibition. I used Midjourney to generate a glass-blown dragon statue. Then, I used chatGPT to generate the name of the exhibition and used it to come up with the place where this exhibition would be held. Also, used chatGPT for the Japanese translation (my apologies if it's not 100% correct). I layout the poster myself using Illustrator and Photoshop. The most tedious part was clipping the dragon!

THE STAR CLUSTER GALA I was exploring AI and came up with an idea. To visualize it, I used Midjourney. Then, I consulted with ChatGPT to decide on the venue and name of the event. After downloading the Midjourney image, I used Photoshop's generative expand and retouching tools to clean up some areas of the image. Finally, I used Illustrator to lay out the text and design elements, resulting in a poster for a fictional gala at a museum

THE BKLYN NEPTUNE NIGHT FESTIVAL I always wanted to design a piece that features a linocut, but I lack the skills and always end up cutting myself. So, I asked ChatGPT what type of theme would be appropriate for a linocut. It responded with literary classics, nature scenes, circus spectacles, and others. I proceeded to explore literary classics. 'Alice in Wonderland,' 'Peter Pan,' and 'Moby-Dick' came up, and one that caught my eye was 'Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.' With a visual in mind, I asked Midjourney to generate a linocut of a giant octopus. After many iterations, I downloaded and retouched it in Photoshop and laid out the other elements in Illustrator. So, in the spirit of Coney Island's Mermaid Parade, I present The Brooklyn Neptune Night Festival (a fun fictional festival)

RENE & GREEN APPLE BUBBLE GUM I thought if there was a fictional animated short of my favorite surrealist, René Magritte, what would the poster look like? I used Midjourney to visualize this idea, did some retouching in Photoshop, laid the text in Illustrator, and added a simple animation. And here it is, René & Green Apple Bubble Gum

THE SWEET SPOT During my walks through Coney Island, I noticed a few stores specializing in candy and confections. This sparked a design idea: What would a poster for a fictional Coney Island candy emporium look like? With a kaleidoscope made out of candy as the main element in mind, I used Midjourney to generate this concept. I wasn't completely satisfied with the results, so I decided to edit in Photoshop and try Adobe Firefly to enhance it. Then, I laid out the type and other design elements in Illustrator. Now, let's take a stroll through Coney Island and find the sweet spot

BLUE VEIL OF PEACE I have been practicing mindfulness through meditation, which sparked an idea for a poster. What if there were a fictional self-compassion retreat? What would the main subject look like? With some ideas in mind, I started generating visuals in Midjourney. I also used ChatGPT to help name the retreat. Afterward, I brought the design into Photoshop for some edits, and then laid out the text and other elements in Illustrator. I present to you: Love, Accept, and Live
